Richard Serra, Art 21, and the Guggenheim installation

One of my favorite places in Europe was Bilbao, Spain and it was because of the modern feel of the city, art scene and the visual impact of the Guggenheim.  I started watching the Art 21 Series episode "Places" on PBS, and the first part was on the large installation inside of the Guggenheim by Richard Serra.  Being a novice of art, but throughly interested in the mindset of contemporary artistic composition and thought, the discussions on perspective and space were intriguing.

Old School Chili Peppers Interview- see H Train

THE Red Hot Chili Pepper's JOHN FRUSCIANTE interview 1997

The ERIC BLAIRING OUT SHOW | MySpace Video

The Chili Peppers were the first (and only) band that my mom told me I shouldn't listen too (after that she realized it was in vain).  The reason was the b-side to the "Under the Bridge" single was "Righteous and the Wicked" and the line was "Yes, I think we'll fuck, but I can't rest in war" and I was too young to know he dropped the F bomb.  Also, Chad Smith gave me hope that white people could almost possible be funky.

These video's of John Frusciante are completed fucked up (and so is he).  H train, my god . . . .I saw these at a friend of mines house one night as we were reminiscing about the past and how we got to musical points we are at today.  But this dude is on another level.

9th Wonder TeleVision

I saw a cool 9th Wonder lecture at Duke University (i know, hearing how black folk make soulful music at an "elite" school full of crackas that can't dance doesn't make sense), but it was a good presentation. I stumbled upon outtakes of that lecture, and a couple of more that were worth to post as a television post.
