Richard Serra, Art 21, and the Guggenheim installation
One of my favorite places in Europe was Bilbao, Spain and it was because of the modern feel of the city, art scene and the visual impact of the Guggenheim. I started watching the Art 21 Series episode "Places" on PBS, and the first part was on the large installation inside of the Guggenheim by Richard Serra. Being a novice of art, but throughly interested in the mindset of contemporary artistic composition and thought, the discussions on perspective and space were intriguing.
