Dirty Pot Cleaner
The pots (or knobs) on my Lexicon Lambda audio interface were dirty and crackled when I turned the master volume up and down. I had some Precision Electronics Cleaner from Radio Shack- Part # 64-4345 and it fixed it quick. Two very short spurtz, turned the knob back and forth for a hot second, and no more crackle. Boom.
