Piet Mondrian Nikes, Designer Fashion, and Esoteric Programing Languages
So Piet Mondrian was this artist kat that was into vertical and horizontal lines with primary colors. He lived in France for a while. Dude painted shit, and some of it was most excellent. Then he died. And then non dead people went ape shit with his design ideas and incorporated those ideas into other products, like Nike Dunk SBs, a Yves Saint Laurent Summer Dress, and esoteric programing languages. Strange Fashion of the 80's? "I don't understand it" (RIP Big L). Dope Artzy Headphones? I am down with that. Non-dead "people are strange." And cause I like the photos TIME posts, here is an article from 1965, and another good one on the square from 1957.
